About the work
The viewer becomes a meditative cyborg navigating a hyperreal landscape filled with synthetic forms, glitchy beings, and organic machines. Everything shifts, dissolves, and reprograms itself.
Through a hypnotic electronic soundtrack and a dark yet tranquil atmosphere, the piece invites deep contemplation.
Mit Borrás proposes a posthuman spirituality — where the future lies not in rejecting technology, but in weaving it into a new shared sensitivity with the living world.
The artist doesn’t offer answers, but rather a space to drift and ask:
Where does the body begin? Where does nature end? And what happens when both are programmed to feel together?
About Mit Borrás
Mit Borrás (b. 1982, Madrid) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of humanity, nature, and technology through immersive video installations, performance, and media art. Grounded in transhumanism, post-naturalism, and speculative philosophy, his practice constructs futuristic mythologies that challenge the boundaries of the body, the environment, and digital life.
At the core of Borrás’s work is the concept of adaptation, a lens through which he reflects on our shifting relationship with machines, ecosystems, and altered states of consciousness. His visual language is defined by sensual materials, pastel color palettes, and biomorphic forms that conjure what he describes as an "orthopedic vision of the future"—a world that is both comforting and unsttling.
Themes such as digital sensuality, bioethics, symbiosis, and spirituality run throughout his work, often forming meditative environments that blur the lines between wellness ritual and technological ritual. These are typically set in aseptic, speculative landscapes—liminal spaces populated by cyborgs, spirits, and speculative futures.
Borrás is also the founder of Studio CAVVE in Madrid, a platform for production and research in expanded media and digital aesthetics.
