A
LIQUID
COLLECTION
We are Frontviews - a collective of approx. 30 artists and 6 theorists - which run an European network for contemporary tendencies in art and close cultural disciplines.
Our common centre HAUNT is located in Berlin Tiergarten and serves as a place to come together for art, discussion and various type of acute cultural formats.
The supportive base of our activities is Spectre Union - a collection of contemporary art from all over Europe. Our team selects, collects, stores and curates artworks that are given to us by many artist who like the European idea and who like to support us. These artists loan their works for a long running duration to the collection for free. And we lend these artworks for a certain time to persons and companies who like to surround themselves with contemporary art. According to this the structure of our collections is steadily changing like a swarm, this is the reason we call it a Liquid Collection.

About
Frontviews is a non profit association of international artists and theorists for arts and culture. Based in Berlin we develop formats of exhibitions in collaboration with diverse institutions and initiatives in Germany and Europe. Three principles shape our agenda:
1. The detection of acute tendencies in contemporary art.
2. The on going quest to initiate formats of collective cultural encounters.
3. To develop a broad interchange with artistic creators of other countries, especially
in Europe.
